What we know about Brno
Brno traffic is funnelled onto the large city ring road, and that is where most of our call-outs are — the Husovice tunnel, Hradecká, Žabovřeská and the Vídeňská exits. In rush hour we often reach the centre faster via Královopolská, so do not be surprised if the truck on the map takes an unexpected route.
The D1/D2 interchange near Brno is one of the busiest in the country and breakdowns there are dangerous. If you are on the Brno-jih exit or on the stretch towards Rosice, stay behind the barrier and give us the kilometre marker — it tells us which side is clear and saves the driver a detour to the next exit.
From Brno we also go abroad. One of our trucks has a tachograph and a cross-border permit, so we can deliver a vehicle to Austria or Slovakia. Longer transports are arranged by phone because the return leg is part of the price.

Winter recovery in the Vysočina hills
On the D1 between Brno and Velká Bíteš it is common in winter for a car to end up in the ditch. We carry a winch and snow chains and do the recovery before loading.
